Mike, you have understood well what the news is and managed to link it to how the audience may react. Now look at the style of language used- is it formal? is it simple or difficult language and why? Also, you have only looked a one news story but consider what type of stories they have in one broadcast and the order which the stories are broadcast. Within a news broadcast there is surely not just news- is there background sound and a jingle? Look at timings and also when you have the interview- where was it taking place? Was there a sense of location created and how?
